Premier Inn Burton On Trent Central

I have stayed at plenty Premier Inn's in my time and by far was the service here the best I have experienced in a while. The reception staff on check in were welcoming and friendly, They got me checked in promptly and booked for my meals in an efficient manner. They were also very chatty which is nice as many hotel check ins don't have that attentive feel, yet here it felt much more people driven... but the restaurant here takes the cake above all else to me. The young lady on the bar, Amy, was so so bubbly and chatty, bouncing between bar, serving food and greeting guests when I was at the restaurant and her energy and attention towards the guests is admirable! The food cooked was superb on both breakfast and on the evening. The only thing that could be improved is the drink selection on draught as there was only Madri and Guiness avaliable (Shocking for a Brewing town!!!) The rooms could use a little tlc but from what I was made aware big things are coming for this hotel and fingers crossed they upgrade some of the rooms as they are very much outdated in areas. Carpets being threadbare in places, paintwork being scuffed but thats just being nitpicky as theres so little to really fault about my stay! 100% would stay again in the future.

You get what you pay for with premier inn lovely room lovely bed, didn’t have much interaction with staff but when I saw them with guests they did seem accommodating and professional only downfall is that the windows didn’t open at all I thought premier inn always have those secure windows with the wire holding it in place so it doesn’t open far, the room was extremely hot to say the least But like I said other than the window which is minor premier inn always does the job

Rubbish stuffy room, unable to open window for fresh air. Uncomfortable fold up bed, reception fixed by putting duvet under. Fix sink with a screwdriver also. No one cleaned the room, even after asking receptionist. The WiFi was absolutely rubbish!

We have stayed at many Prem inns across the UK over the years. We had a 2 night stay due to business in the area. Sat nav gets you straight here and there is a huge carpark which is free. Just be aware this carpark is in constant use by local learner drivers which can be concerning due to a near miss by one. Opposite is Morrisons should you need it and 2 mins away is B&Q, The Range and B&M This is an average prem building which for us, the lady in the Beefeater next door was by far the most polite lady we met whilst staying here, and the young man in reception. It’s worth noting, The Beefeater does not open until 5pm everyday. Noise on the ground floor is not the quietest, lots of noise from other rooms and above. Food in the restaurant was good, and plenty of space there. Nice place, comfy and bed was lush

Had an absolutely fantastic welcome from Andy and Jess behind the reception desk. Very helpful and polite. We went to the on site restaurant for food and again had a very warm welcome from Cause. Not only was he very welcoming he was also very confident and efficient in his job. One of the best stays I have ever had in a premier inn

Stayed in a family room - 2 adults, 2 chn. Clean room, plenty of space. Possibly could do with some TLC and looking a bit tired but more than acceptable. TV and WiFi available and tea and coffee. No fridge. Meals in adjacent pub. Even meal wasn't great but breakfast was great Definitely recommend - absolutely worth the money.
